: Welcome to my media log! here you can see me talking about some of my favorite medias and give out terrible reviews... All of them have spoilers btw.
Here are some of my fav genres: 2000s-2010s series, philosophical, experimental, psychological horror, slice of life, thriller, internet mystery (idk if some of them are actual genres). My favorite medias of all time are Homestuck, 17776 and Portal !
(10/2025)

My favorite parts are when Dirk cut his own head and when Jade had to stay on that ship alone. I kinda feel them. I also like the classpect system a lot, I can classpect you if you want!
(2026)
It is so funny yet so emotional?? I like Hubble a lot even though he only got 5 lines. He is actually the first spacecraft I knew about when I was small (famous guy!). I made a shrine for this story, you can read it here!

Every single dialogues of this anime got me laughing I'm not even joking. This anime made me wonder what kind of humour Shuichi Aso (the mangaka) has to have to get to THIS level of funniness. Ok sorry for my weird way of typing it out lmao. I kinda wanted to watch this anime for a while but only got the chance when I was waiting for the full season of Stranger Things on my Netflix (could've pir8ed but I'm tired of finding good sites!!!)

The characters of this anime are too great. The author has the ability to create characters based on over-used anime stereotypes but they aren't cringe at all. My favorites are Saiki Kusuo (and Saiki Kuriko very obviously if she counts), Kuboyasu Aren and Saiki Kuusuke. I like Saiki because he is too relatable. I love how he isn't even a reliable story-teller lol. He's just a teenager after all. Saiki thinks that he's this average student who doesn't need anyone but he's actually the opposite, and he's in EVERYONE's business all the time for no reason! I like Kuboyasu because he determined to become a better person and leave his past behind, that's kind of awesome. Also he is just wholesome in general. And about Kuusuke...sorry mad scientists are kind of cool ok...
- It's sad that Saiki had to deal with so many things by his own though. Good thing that it's a comedy anime, can't imagine a normal anime where the main character has to rewind his second highschool year 6 times to save the world.
I think this is the only anime that I can watch 10 times a day. I can't even explain how much do I love Saiki K.

I need to watch it again haha I forgot most parts, but anyways L is an interesting character to me, a quirky genius. That's why he's my favorite character.

It was fun watching Mob on his journey to control his powers and improve himself. Also I knew about Reigen from that one Sans vs Reigen sexyman video ok pls dont kill me
(13/3/2025)

Whoops I forgot most parts let me go watch it again.
(2023)

I think this is a must-watch if you like biology. The character designs are really unique!

Yes I also used to be obsessed with the Gravity falls books and tried to replicate them. I liked all the ciphers the most, and Gravity Falls got me learning about different types of ciphers.

The film starts with Earth getting infected with something called "the Blight". It lives on nitrogen, kills all crops, and causes dust storms. People are starving and dying. Scientists have 2 plans: Plan 1 is to solve a gravity equation so that they can bring all of humanity out of Earth without the bounds of gravity. However, they need quantum data from inside a black hole to complete it. Plan 2 is to leave all of humanity on Earth and build another colony on a habitable planet with eggs already prepared.
An ex-pilot named Cooper gets requested to pilot a spacecraft named Endurance through a wormhole near Saturn. The wormhole leads to another galaxy and they have to find a habitable planet there. That's part of a mission called Lazarus. Scientists also noticed disturbances in gravity and think that it's some high being's work.
After saying goodbye to Earth, Cooper and his crew get on a spaceship to dock with Endurance and get to the wormhole. They go to Miller's planet first, which is a water world with massive waves. The planet orbits near a black hole named Gargantua. Because of that, 1 hour on the planet equals 7 years on Earth. That also means Miller only arrived there a few hours earlier and got washed away by the waves.
When seeing that this planet has no hope, they decide between Dr. Mann's planet (which also orbits near the black hole; Dr. Mann is also the person who inspired everyone else to go on the missions) and Edmunds' planet (which doesn't orbit near a black hole). They choose Dr. Mann's planet.
It turns out he faked all the information and his planet isn't suitable for life. He almost kills Cooper and steals Ranger 1 to try docking with Endurance. But he attempts to dock without completing the procedure, damaging the spacecraft and killing himself immediately.
Cooper then attempts the most tense docking scene ever, where he tries to match Endurance's extreme spinning and docks perfectly. After that, they decide to go to Edmunds' planet and also visit the black hole.
TARS goes into the black hole, and Cooper also comes, which is unexpected for the crew. Inside the black hole, he finds himself inside the tesseract. Each fragment of it is a different time in Murph's room, his daughter. With the help of TARS, he successfully sends the quantum data to his daughter in Morse code through gravity interruption in a watch. So both plans get solved.
After that, he realizes that the higher beings are just humans in the far future, helping him communicate with his daughter. The tesseract closes, and he gets teleported near Saturn along with TARS. He wakes up on Cooper Station. Cooper reunites with Murph, who is now an old woman. Murph tells him to go find Brand (a crewmate of Cooper), who is making a colony on Edmunds' planet. The film ends with Cooper and TARS heading toward Edmunds' planet, ready to meet Brand.
Some personal comments:
I love the music in this film and how there are no boring scenes at all. But sometimes it gets way too emotion-focused. I still love the intensity it gives me and how they visualize everything though.
TARS and CASE are my favorites! TARS has great humor, and CASE is straight to the point. I love the way they move, it looks so weird.

In the future, a corporation named Lunar Industries becomes the largest fusion energy producer in the world. That fusion energy is He3 - "the energy of the sun trapped in rocks, harvested by machines from the far side of the Moon". It supplies nearly 70% of the planet's energy.
The movie cuts to a He3 mining base named Sarang. On the base, we meet a guy named Sam Bell and an AI named GERTY 3000. Sam has been here for almost 3 years and is about to go back to Earth. In 2 weeks, the ELIZA Rescue Unit will come to get him. Sam has a wife and a daughter. The communications on the base aren't linear, so Sam can only talk to them through offline messages. Sam goes outside to fix something and gets into an accident. His rover crashes and he is left in a dying state.
When Sam wakes up, he is already in the infirmary, and he also looks much fresher than the last time we saw him. Outside the room, GERTY is updating the Lunar SAT's status through video messages. GERTY then approaches Sam and says that he may have suffered brain damage in the crash. After that, Sam is ordered to stay inside by Lunar Industries. GERTY is also ordered to keep him inside the base. Not wanting to stay inside, Sam breaks some pipes so GERTY will let him go outside to "see the exterior shell".
Sam then finds someone heavily injured near the stalled harvester. Sam brings him to the infirmary. That person looks exactly like him and is also named Sam. They have the same memories, the same wife named Tess and the same daughter named Eve.
From now on, I will name the Sam that was found Sam 1, and the one that found Sam 1 will be called Sam 2.
They talk, and Sam 2 thinks that there might be a secret room that they don't know about. He searches the whole base to find evidence. Sam 2 asks Sam 1 if he can search under his model and gets a no from him. Then they get into a fight and Sam 2 flips the whole thing over.
Sam 1 talks to GERTY after that and learns that his memories are not his own. They are memory implants from the original Sam Bell. Then Sam 1 and Sam 2 go out to find out what messed with their live feed. They see an antenna and know that it's the jammer. Sam 1 goes back to the base and finds the secret room that Sam 2 talked about before below the deep sleep room. When Sam 2 goes back, they both go down into the room and find a big underground base full of the other unconscious Sam clones.
After getting out of there, Sam 1 tries to reach his wife Tess by calling but a teenage girl answers instead. She then tells him that her name is Eve - his daughter, and her mom passed away a few years ago. It seems like she doesn't even know who he is. When Sam 1 asks about "mommy", Eve tells her new dad that someone is asking about mom. After hearing that, Sam 1 ends the call and cries. This part makes my heart ache.
Turns out this corporation is secretly operating a cloning program. Whenever a Sam clone nears the end of his lifespan, a new clone is awakened and told that he has brain damage. That new Sam then works for 3 years until he dies (the clones' lifespan is 3 years). Another clone is then awakened and the cycle continues.
Sam 2 has a plan: If they put someone in the crash place then the ELIZA Rescue Unit won't suspect anything and one of them can come back to Earth. He asks Sam 1 to be the one to go back but he declines because of his current health. So Sam 2 will be the one to go. He then puts Sam 1 in the crashed rover and deletes GERTY's memories so he won't get in trouble.
When the Rescue Unit arrives, Sam 2 escapes through a He3 transport pod and lands on Earth safely. His return triggers a massive scandal and causes the corporation's downfall.
Some personal comments:
The first half of the film is a bit slow but the next half of it pays off greatly.
My favorite moment is when Sam 1 discovers that his wife has passed away and that "his own" daughter grew up with a new father. I can't imagine the pain he had to go through when hearing that from his daughter. Even though the memories are not truly his own, it still doesn't change the fact that he is human, and so are all the other clones.
I also like GERTY 3000 a lot. Although it is a part of Lunar Industries, it still chooses to assist Sam with many things and even helps him in uncovering the truth.

Got the chance to watch this movie with my friend.
The movie starts with Grace waking up on a strange ship with no memories of who he is. Then he learns that his crewmates died and he is the sole survivor on a mission to the Tau Ceti system (the mission is called Project Hail Mary).
Slowly, he starts to remember things. Turns out he was a teacher and also a former biologist. One day a task force recruited him to study something called the "Petrova line". It is a trail of infrared light, a substance on it called the astrophage is slowly eating the Sun. Eventually, not enough sunlight would reach Earth and many people would die because of climate change and such. Grace then discovers that astrophage is an organism and can be used to create energy.
The "Petrova line" is actually doing the same thing to every other star except for Tau Ceti. So yeah the task force planned to fly a space ship with a crew on it to know what is happening there. It was a one-way trip because they don't have enough fuel to get them back. During an explosion, all previous astronauts died in a fire, so guess what? The task forced "kidnapped" Grace to put him on the spaceship because they believed he could do it.
Back to the present. While heading towards Tau Ceti, Grace meets something like an alien spacecraft. He tries to run but the spacecraft keeps moving with him. He then befriends the alien on the spaceship - a creature with a rocky body. He calls the alien Rocky.
Rocky is also the only survivor of his ship with the same purpose as Grace's ship. They then find a way to communicate with each other and succeed. Rocky is a skilled mechanic, and he helps Grace on their missions together. The thing I noticed is that this movie mainly focuses on the friendship between Grace and Rocky, in my opinion, they did a great job.
Grace and Rocky almost died on their mission to take samples of the organism on Tau Ceti e and I got so scared. Good thing they didn't die. Rocky then sleeps for a while and when he wakes up Grace gives him the other half of the samples. Then they say goodbye and go back to their planets. But halfway Grace realizes that this organism eats through Xenonite and Rocky's entire ship is made of it. That means Rocky's ship will eventually fall apart.
Now he has two choices: Go back home anyways and leave Rocky or leave the samples on small probes and come back to Rocky to save him. Yes he chose the latter.
So yeah we got a happy ending, the samples get back to Earth and also Rocky's planet, Erid. Grace now stays in Rocky's planet and teaches the Eridian children.

"All these worlds are yours, except Europa. Attempt no landing there"
I'm gonna write a review for this later, I swear I wrote one...

Movie too great I don't even know what to say here. Go watch it. HAL is iconic as hell, you might like him. I like how even a "perfect" machine like HAL can also be afraid of death, or in his case, disconnection. Crazy how a machine can feel so human.
(8/4/2026)

The movie got me even more interested in the dynamic between humans and machines. The way Edgar expresses his emotions is something I'll never forget.

This movie perfectly depicts how some of us feel during our teenage years. Bad things happen, and music becomes our escape from the sorrows of the world. It is sad in a strange and beautiful way.

This ARG is special to me because the videos are so calming. They always have a foggy background and a posterization effect. The music is also atmospheric and not scary unline some other ARGs. It feels like a lost memory, waiting for us to uncover under all those layers of fog.
(2024)

Sometimes I wonder what am I watching because why are our Solar System planets on a journey to rescue one million planets lmao (yes that's the current arc)
(2023)

This object show is unlike any other object shows I've ever watched. It is short, strange and meaningful in many ways. The atmospheric OSTs made it even better.
